Yesterday, October 5th we placed a total of 6 riffle’s (Remote Independent Friendly Field-Logger Electronics) in the Monongahela River. We strategically chose 3 different sites and have 2 Riffles at each, one which is collecting data and storing it to a removable SD card which we will analyze in the future, and another with a Fona Cell Phone Transmitter, capable of texting and recording live data for us to view at any given moment. Click the link for a live look at the readings that are being gathered, measuring the changes in conductivity.
